Account Deletion

Delete your account & data — permanently.

This page explains how to permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Hisaab Kitab / Hisab Kitab – Expense Tracker app.

Option 1 · Instant

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open the app and make sure you are signed in to your cloud account.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm by tapping Delete Forever.

Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.

Option 2 · Within 30 days

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email expensehisabkitab@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject Account Deletion Request.

We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Deletion is irreversible and there is no recovery period. If you want a copy of your data first, use Profile → Export in the app before deleting.

Data retention

After deletion, no personal financial data is retained. Anonymised, aggregate crash/diagnostic logs (which contain no account contents) may persist in our error-monitoring tooling for a limited period.
